10 Q Report: Advancing Women’s Heart Health through Improved Research, Diagnosis and Treatment
Conducting appropriate sex differences research and analysis of cardiovascular disease (CVD) has been limited by insufficient recruitment of women. Improved participation of women would improve the clinical understanding of sex differences and result in more appropriate prevention and early detection, accurate diagnosis and proper treatment of women with heart disease. To foster improvements in women’s heart health, the Society of Women’s Health Research and WomenHeart spearheaded the 10 Q Report in February 2006, which was updated in 2011.
