National Attention coming to sex differences in sleep

On Monday June 30th, NBC’s Today Show will host Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) Director of Scientific Affairs Monica Mallampalli, PhD, MSc. On the show she will be discussing sex differences in sleep, and why sleep health for women needs greater national attention.

SWHR has been working for over a year now to promote the importance of sleep. They have recently been selected to guest blog with  The Huffington Post on this tip. The SWHR believes that sleep health should be as important as diet and exercise when it comes to an individual’s overall health. And they hope that by bringing together leading experts in the field they can improve sleep health for all Americans.

Make sure to follow their twitter feed as they will be live-tweeting this event. You can find them on Twitter at @SWHR.

Mark your calendars for Monday June 30th at the 9:00 AM EST hour and don’t miss out on this segment!
